What the Service is

PDF Editor is a free tool that lets you view and edit PDF documents directly in your web browser. All processing happens locally on your device; we do not receive or store the files you edit.

The Service is provided at no cost, with no account required, and without a watermark on your output.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and only with documents you have the right to edit. You are solely responsible for the content of the files you open and the edits you make.

You agree not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, overload, or misuse the Service or the website that hosts it.

Your content

You retain all rights to the documents you edit. Because your files never leave your device, we claim no ownership of, and have no access to, your content.

You are responsible for keeping your own copies and backups of your files. The Service does not store your documents, so we cannot recover them for you.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

While we work to keep edits faithful to the original document, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the output will be suitable for every use. Always review your downloaded file before relying on it.

Limitation of liability
